This herd is for all isolated individuals who have now or ever lost hope when faced with the seemingly meaningless and mildly offensive collections of random letters which make up 75% of the communications on HP. We aim to support each other through this bewildering quagmire by sharing translations as they become available.
Open to all those who may have felt that they stood alone in a sea of unfeeling acroynyms, a rising bleak and grey swell-surge of LOLs: those who find themselves regularly shouting at their computers "For the love of god, Speak English!"
This herd is also open to those of you who have come through this ordeal and who are willing to offer guidance and compassion, and provide translations for the rest of us. We also seek to answer that eternal question; "Where did you learn this gobbledygook?" Did you attend night classes somewhere, or did you (as i suspect), like the Monkey, simply hatch forth fully endowed in adult form from the Stone Egg......
We also seek to provide a sanctuary for those endangered words which are rapidly disappearing for the net and other places. Words such as ' Somewhat ', ' Ordinarily ' and ' Piecemeal '. Words which are already threatened in their natural habitat and even now face an uncertain future....
