Herd Profile: The Thiasus
In Greek mythology: The retinue of Dionysus, the god of wine and inspired madness. Also the patron deity of agriculture and the theatre, he was known as the Liberator; freeing one from one's normal self, by madness, ecstasy, or wine. The divine mission of Dionysus was to bring an end to care and worry. This herd is dedicated to you the Maenads, Pans and Centaurs of the modern era; the children of untamed nature, lovers of wine, raving and frenzied women, all of who like nothing better than to let go every so often and dance with wild abandon.
