I go to explore the dark corners of my mind… what will I find… will it be total darkness that consumes me… or will I find a glimmer of light to lead me… and is that glimmer of light there to guide me or lead me astray… will I find what I am looking for … or roam the darkness of my mind for days to come.

Although we are all "individuals".... there are so many things in so many of our lives that are similar that I start wondering how different we really are from each other and if we really are "individuals"?

We are... because even though our situations are similar and we had the same obsticles in life.... each one ended up taking a different path to end up were they are today... and that has to be a sign of idividualism... otherwise we would have all ended up at the same place doing the same things...

WHY.... Why do we give so much power to other people... everytime we tell someone... "You hurt me"... we gave them the power to do that.... evertime we tell someone "You make me mad"... we gave them the power to do that.... We are responsible for our own well being.... No one can make you happy if you don't want to be.... no one can make you sad... if you don't want to be... and no one can take your heart and shatter it into a thousand pieces.... if you don't let them....

Be strong... for no one else but yourself!!

I border on confused most of the time... life pushes and we push back... we get through everyday by believing that tomorrow will be better.... but will it really be better if we don't make the effort... We think we know what we want... we think we know what we are doing.... but do we really... are we really as sure as we like others to believe... or do we bluff like seasoned poker players... hoping nobody will notice?
