Here among the lovers I wait willing,
Alone because I cannot be with you,
Pensive in the press of people filling
Promenades with passions spent and due.
Yet I am happy in my melancholy,
Vested in a love that like the night
Arrays itself in dreams that veil me wholly,
Leaving me contented till the light.
Even were I with you, I would wander
Near the things that would, but cannot be,
Taking you with me towards that inner wonder
In which we find the truest ecstasy.
Nor would our love be greater not apart,
Each with each together in the heart.
About you:
How can I fall in love with only words?
Words and pictures, grainy and compressed?
A jaypeg love is truly for the birds.
You'd have to wonder whether I'm repressed.
But love it is, through all the bits and bytes,
For someone who's like no one else I've met:
Tender, charming, bright, knight of my nights,
All I've ever dreamed of, on the Net.
And though he's living in a distant place,
I love him as I've loved no one before.
Will I ever get to touch his face,
Hold him in my arms and, perhaps, more?
Ay, me! No matter what, I'm still in love.
Through modems must our chatt-passions move!
As I sit here in my kitchen, drinking my coffee, looking out in the rain, I want to share few thoughts about Christmas with you...
What is the meaning of Christmas?
This question may be asked to many and answered in many different ways. Each one of us have our own thoughts and beliefs, about the meaning of Christmas. Many of us may look back at a memorable experience we’ve had one year which made that particular Christmas very special to us.
Of course, all of us have become accustomed to the jolly old man with a gray beard and red suit, and his ban of elves, reindeer, and reference of his lodging at the North Pole. Also the classic novel of old scrooge is a must for viewing each year, it seems we never get tired of watching the movie.
There are those who will look at Christmas as “the businessman’s holiday.” Well let’s face it business do make a great deal of profit during this time of year. However, the majority of shoppers enjoy buying gifts for loved ones and I truly believe the businessmen enjoy and get into the spirit of making a market plentiful with gifts to please everyone of all ages.
There seems to be a magic in the air around Christmas time, the saddest part I’ve heard about Christmas is the thought of banning the expression of “Merry Christmas.” There is something about hearing the phrase that always touches me. When it is spoken, it is most of the time coming from the heart.
Well what Christmas is really about, is the birth of the child Christ. One need not to be a Christian to believe in Christ. Whatever religion you may, belong to; love is the key to all religions. If we have and practice love then we have and live our own Christmas all year round, no matter what religion we may practice.
It seems families always try to make Christmas special or more meaningful than the previous year. You need not consult Dr. Phil for his expert opinion on why we all do this. For everything Christmas stands for, the dreams of all of us to live in peace, love, to be united as all religions call for in their scriptures. This I truly believe is the true and real meaning of Christmas
To Christians, Merry Christmas. To Jews, Happy Hanukkah. To Muslims, I recognize Isra wa al - mirag. To Buddhist I greet Vesak. and to atheist, I respect your beliefs.
Christmas time is memory time
Seasons come, seasons go
Christmas comes just like a thought
And it reads just like a book
Place all your happy memories
In your christmas basket
Wrap it with pretty paper
Oh so bright, wrap it tight
Many days have faded with the year
Looking back brings a tear
Yes reminisce with total joy
Remember the door that opens wide
So we can gaze on christmas day...
Merry Xmas, blessings and all my Love to you all, Ani
