Happy hour
I always liked, the end of a working day, at these times, spend some time with friends in a Happy Hour. The slowdown, that time was mandatory, not take home all the burden and pressure of an intense day of work.
The mental work is difficult to stop, is not closing the drawers of the desk or turning off the office light, our mind just stops, and only return to thinking about work when we got back to the office the next day.
This time, spend together, aims to decompress, our mind. We make the transition to the maximum smoothness possible between the desktop and relaxing home atmosphere.
But what was an enjoyable activity, relaxing and joy, with the evolution of time, and the result of new technologies became an extension of the desktop.

Happy Hour
Sempre gostei, do final de um dia de trabalho, nestas horas, passar algum tempo com amigos numa Happy Hour. A desaceleração, nessa hora era obrigatória, para não levarmos para casa toda a carga e pressão de um intenso dia de trabalho.
O trabalho mental é difícil de interromper, não é fechando as gavetas da mesa de trabalho ou desligando a luz do escritório, que nossa mente simplesmente pára, e só voltaremos a pensar no trabalho quando chegamos de volta ao escritório no dia seguinte.
Esta hora, de convívio, tem a finalidade de descomprimir, nossa mente. Fazermos a transição com a máxima suavidade possível, entre o ambiente de trabalho e o relaxante ambiente domestico.
Mas o que era uma atividade agradável de desaceleração e alegria, com a evolução do tempo, e fruto das novas tecnologias virou uma extensão do ambiente de trabalho.
Quem vai para uma Happy Hour com o smartphone ou tablet ligados, simplesmente não quer desligar-se do trabalho, logo para estes a finalidade desta hora não faz sentido nenhum.
Hoje observamos em qualquer grupo, nesta hora, a maioria, quando não todos, com seus gadgets ativados, super atentos aos ... gadgets naturalmente. Parecendo robots, ativados a partir destas caixas electrónicas.
Qualquer dialogo, é automaticamente interrompido quando um desses gadgets toca. Algumas vezes ainda ouvimos um – Me dá licença … - mas o normal é simplesmente interromper o dialogo e dar prioridade à conversa eletronica. A troca de mensagens não é interrompida em momento algum.
O convívio acabou transformando-se numa confusão de pessoas falando, ou digitando, para pessoas que não estão ali. Cada um com suas conversas externas. Apenas estão todos no mesmo ambiente mas as mentes deles, estão longe, muito longe, dali.
Triste realidade, tristeza de vida.
Enfim, um hábito tão agradável e importante, passou a historia.
