One day while short on supplies, Capt. Dread & her crew navigated their ship down the shallow channel of the river bottom. The brig, which is any true pirates choice of a boat, was made just for these shallower waters. Unfortunately, the notorious Lethbridge wind blew them straight against land in one gigantic gust. Not only were they short on food but now the ship needed repairs very badly. Fortunately, the river bottom proved to be the best new pirate haven and amidst the trees the fort of the Prairie Pirates was constructed.
