I had bid on Randy's auction a couple of weeks ago and won.
For the winner, there would be a composition of a poem of that persons choice.
Me being the winner, I had asked Randy to compose a poem about "Changes".

I was touched deeply by his words and I thought I would let all my friends know what a
great poet he is and how his words flow beautifully through poetry!

Changes

Things are changing everyday

We can not stop it, there is no way

We have to learn, to accept

That some of those changes are for the best

We love our children with all our heart

But one day soon we’ll have to part

Our children get older and move away

We hope and wish that they would stay

But when the time comes for them to leave home

Just remember that they have grown

You have done it and so have I

So there’s no need for us to cry

They have to live life on their own

To appreciate what they had at home

And once they leave and realize this

You’ll see that they will come back quick

They’ll come and visit and fill you in

With all the new things they feel within

So when they spread their wings and fly

Remember that it’s not goodbye
