I was in the midst of translating The Apologia from Latin when I stopped to note this infamous passage. How strange...it reminded me of the Prague spring.

"Callias, I said, if your sons had been bolts or calves, we should have no difficulty in finding and engaging a trainer to perfect their natural qualities, and this trainer would have been some sort of horse dealer or agriculturalist. One of the craziest parts about life after organizing auditions and selecting our new team is the much awaited annual mini camp. While the ladies need to learn several routines in a very short amount of time, these rehearsals are unique in the fact that we bring in guest choreographers to liven things up.

Not only is Jon Peters an amazing choreographer, but he has a great time with the ladies, "Now tighten up. Tighten up defense. There we go. We're gonna be like girl-pile pose, where you guys are just on each other and touching and blah blah blah. Just girl pile."

The rookies' facial expressions were priceless. They stood there stunned into silence by his sense of humor, yet some of his phrases will definitely help them remember the routine, "Right arm's by the thigh. Left one is giving it a spank. Keep the left on your business and the right hand comes up the right leg. Smack!"

It is incredibly refreshing to watch him teach the girls and entertain them at the same time, "Come on ladies. Once more from the top." MASSIVE COMPLAINTS AND GROANS. "Let's go!!! I'm counting slow. It's impossible to jump in slow motion. I get it. We're not in The Matrix, but I'm going to try it again faster. So try it again."

Phenomenal!!!
