THE DARKNESS

I walk in a daze
fake smile on my face,
happiness an illusion,
a mask to hide the pain

The fear rages within,
making my body shake,
my heart beg..
for the freedom from life.

The darkness swells uopn me
blurring my mind,
attacking my soul,
blackening my life's essence.

the suns rays they mock me.
no matter how bright,
can't stop the darkness
its just set
too
deep!
