It's really grey and raining which is making me procrastinate walking over to the alternative health style stores. Also, if I let frugality reign I would exert myself to go more downtown and bargain hunt. Hmmm.

Seventeen days after surgery and I feel pretty good. I and my back are so happy I can use my abdominal muscles again.
I am going to start fiddling with my diet. Switch to rice milk, less caffeine-laden coffee, bump up some of my intake of supplements and so forth.

I re watched the Iron Giant. I love that movie. It deserved an oscar more than ratatouille and the incredibles. I don't know of another movie that so consistently makes me cry, maybe brokeback if I could bring myself to watch it again.

Persepolis should have won this year.

My long term to do list is; heal, look for work, find new friends.
I love my current friends, I just need more. Especially as they have they have tendency to globe trot/move to different cities.
My short term to do list is- do not rip stitches and avoid becoming addicted to prescription painkillers.
