Yet another dark peom written by me. I only seem to write when I'm in pain. lol Hope you like...

Darkness

I sometimes wonder... Do they see me? Do they here me? Do they even care? Or, for that matter, do you? You say you know, that you understand, But you don't, know one does, No one knows my darkness, They say they do, But it's not true It's best this way, to block them away, To stick to the shadows, my darkness, My black shrowd that protects my heaviest turmoil, What you don't see, is that I'm not hiding, I'm protecting, If you seek, you will find, If you see, you will know, But you can't see, Therefore you'll never know, You've never been in my type of pain, Just as I've never been in yours, And I think to myself, I never want to go through that again, That pain, that anguish, So I bury it, or at least try to, Not only to protect myself, but everyone else, I think-no one should know, Or will ever know my pain, So I cloak it so no one sees, But it's a false cloak, Because I still see, I still feel that pain, Oh sure it goes away, But it always comes back, Like a haunting melody, It takes a hold of me, Wraping me in a suffocating web of dispare, Will I ever be freed from this torment? Or will I always be desolate? Forever holding a part of myself back, Not just to protect myself and others, But also out of fear, A greater fear of being hurt, Or causing pain to the ones I hold dear,So in the shadows I go, And in the shrowd of darkness I'll stay, Forever and always....

This is the second half to the above poem. It was written for me by a friend of mine...

I stand here waiting, searching. I flow thru time, holding on to memories. I see you now and know you. i see you in the darkness waiting for me. I understand your pain. I understand your worry.

I have always been here, hoping needing. Wishing for a sweet caress from your fingers on my ageing face. Do you see me? Do you hear me. Like a thousand beautiful days your beauty assults me, reminds me.

I want you near to me, to hold you. I want you to speak to me as i would speak to you. Ever softly Ever loving. I seek your warm embrace, i seek the comfort of a kiss.

I am here in the darkness waiting for you, hoping that you will find me before you are lost. Hoping that you Want me. Knowing that i need you.

Holding on to memories, not of this life but another. i see you there and it comforts me. It relaxes my soul. you are to me as beautiful as a million roses and none other can compair.

you are like the rain on dehydrated lips, ever sweet and desired. you perfect like a summer breeze, as gentel as a petal. Your soul shines bright to me. No matter the darkness because i know that you are one with my soul. The Yin to my Yang. the balance to everything that makes me incomplete, you are my other half . The other peice to my soul..
