I really hate how because I have a new job I never get to see my friends anymore....sad.... yesterday I left the office at 7pm!!! yes 7!!! its insane!! actually!. I think I might have to go back to my cruisey student life style. who cares about being poor if you are having fun?!

So I'm one week into my new job as an HR coordinator and so far things are going pretty good. I'm getting along with everyone although they kinda baby me cos I'm the youngest on my team and everyone else has kids. I am suffering a shortage of support workers in Wellington east and central... so... if you live around there and want a job let me know!!!!!

So this year Chinese new year managed to fall on the same day as Waitangi day (as in new zealand's national day sort of....or the day when one bunch of people signed over a whole lotta land over to another bucn of people for some blankets and muskets). Which means instead of coming home to do a whole lot of cooking and then consume a massive meal with your family, you get a whole day to cook a whole bunch of food and eat it with your family. On the plus side the drinking can also begin first thing in the morning!! yuss!!
