I came across a set of questions on someone else's tale and I will answer them here, with answers that I would say to anyone I was involved with. Those of you who know me IRL have some idea of just how seriously I mean this, particularly the last answer. If you kissed me without stopping I would kiss you back... and be glad I can breathe through my nose for both of us. If you gave me the key to your heart I would string it on a silver chain and wear it proudly... with the rest of my collection. If I loved you, it would be with every ounce of energy, every spark of passion, every fragment of my soul... and I would still end up hurting you sooner or later. If I was everything to you, you would not have all of my heart... I will not lose myself in anyone, for any reason. If you promised to always belong to me, to always be there for me, I would accept it as the wonderful gift it would be... and while I belong to no man or woman, I would be there for you until the last breath had passed my lips, and even then, my soul would follow you when my body was laid in the ground. When I love, I love completely, and it does not crumble or fade. I can honestly say that everyone I have loved, I still love. Everyone who has belonged to me, has a place with me, always, for any reason. That's who I am, that's how I choose to be, that will never change. *wry grin* Even if it does occasionally cause a lot of heartache, I do believe (when I'm not in the middle of PMS'ing or missing Kadin) that it's better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all.

I've been having a lot of fun lately working on fairly small images, 400x400 pixels. They tend to translate fairly well to HP-sized images, are a small enough canvas that it lets me concentrate on just one thing, one area, one picture, and I can do them quickly. A lot of the tattoo images and lolcat images in my shop started out as either 400x400 or 300x300. At the moment, I just finished one that will likely never be in my shop; it sums up at least a small part of what I believe and how I try to live my life. I'm going to post it here 'cos well, that's what Tales are for, yes? Posting things of at least some importance to you. *smile* I'd love comments and questions, of course. You should be able to click on the image to full-view it.

For those of you who have read "Kushiel's Dart", you may be pleased to know that I intend to run with the idea and work up several full-back pieces. I'm torn between selling them as items individually, or selling a single item that lets you pick one and then display it on your profile. If I go with the first option, I'm going to have to make the finished images fairly small to begin with, as there's a limit on what size item pictures can be. If I go with the second option, I can make them as large as I feel like, and just have a resized version for display that acts as a link to the full-size. Meh.

Alexander the Great, my little Siberian Dwarf hamster who stars in the items in Torian's shop, passed away this afternoon. He was old, mostly-blind and mostly-deaf, and when I held him last night he was drowsy and yawning, not all that active, but not seeming to be in any pain. Apparently he just fell asleep and didn't wake up. I'm going to miss him quite a bit; he was a wonderful little guy, so friendly, he loved getting attention and being held... Hamsters in general aren't particularly long-lived creatures, and I knew that he was getting close, but... yeah. It still hurt to find him. He's... he was such a sweetie. If there's a hamster heaven, I know they'll let him in. If there isn't, then when ~I~ die I'm going to kick whatever angelic ass I have to t'get him in with me. Goodbye, little guy.

Tattoo-style pieces are 800 points if it includes a name or phrase that is specific to you/your pet, free if it is an image or phrase that I can keep up for others to purchase.
