Okay, I've been in this community for only a few days now, but it's long past time for me to tell my first "tale".

I like the Human Pets concept. Because it puts me in touch with my inner werewolf? Yeah-no. I'm attracted to the surreal-ness of it all, such as the way it somehow makes sense to act on those urges we can't act on in normal life. Such as the urge to pet cute strangers.

I'm not sure I actually HAVE that urge in real life, but hey, surreal is fun.

So why not welcome me to the community properly--with a thumb.

Hahaha! Fantastic introduction! I love scabulous too... ^^ I'm impressed your know your ethnobotany too--the social uses of plants. It's always a field I've wanted to study. I'm in English/Japanese/Environmental Studies right now... but man o' man... if I can find a way into Grad School I'd love to learn more about the meanings humans embed plants with.
