Fear can make the smartest man do the dumbest things. When it fights to overcome what I know is true. To make me run and hide from the one that I shouldn't hide at all from. To poke and prod from the depths, but then to watch and wonder and want and wait til the fear is gone again. Wings of a Dragon beating up and down, seeing the things that should scare me and ignoring them, and being fearful of the things that I should cling to the most. Fear has no power over me, and fear becomes the next enemy to defeat.

When you look and wonder what happened. You had mixed fears about Red Riding Hood. That she looked innocent with a scent of evil wrapped around her like a winters cape. You smiled, she smiled. You laughed, She laughed. You struck and she hurt. You laughed again and she cowered. And as you went along your merry way in your life. To seek the next victim, the teeth sink slowly into your throat. And as the blood gushed from your veins, you forgot that sometimes, Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf were one in the same. Then it all fades to black.

For many years there is the question whether I can be truly owned. Or even tamed. And who would be the one to do it. With any type of personal bondage. You stretch against the chains and you dig at the collar of who someone wants you to be. But at times the one that owns you also pushes you into being better than who you are that moment. With treats, affection, discipline and love and caring. It's those times that the collar becomes a reward instead of something to regret.
