I licked my paw today

Softly, slowly
Savouring the feel of wet fur on my tongue
slipping it up to my eye and sliding it down the duct
washing away the pool of moisture that collected there
suprisingly.
Expecting to find the dry silky smooth hair
that coats the rest of me.
I licked again
gravity pulling tongue to nails
scratched across my lips
remembered.
Scratching them down your back.
