I am so sad. I miss Ronnie somethin' awfully terribly bad!! I am numb through & through. My heart has been shattered into too many pieces to pick up. I will have no peace until I'm with my beloved Ronnie once again.

These images are in honor of Ronnie, my husband of 13 years. He passed away (age 47) due to a surgeion's incompetence during Ronnie's surgery.

There was a nurse & 2 assistants who saw bleeding in Ronnie's chest cavity while the surgeon was clsoing Ronnie's chest up from a routine valve replacement. I'm not sure if they said anything, but the surgeon closed him up anyway, w/ot repairing the nicked aorta.

Fifteen minutes into recovery, he lost all of his blood (he bled completely out). According to the surgeon, he told BOTH Kathy & I that it took 10 minutes to give him cpr & then a few minutes later told us it took 20 minutes to cpr. We looked @ each other and we should have said something, but neither of us did.

I have retained an excellent attorney. I won't say what I'd like to have done to the surgeon, but let me assure you it is not violent.

The cross is for Ronnie, because he had a good relationship with God before he passed.

The white angel wings are because I liked them and thought Ronnie could use them every once in awhile.

The black angel wings are because black was his favorite color.

The Ozzy sign is because he loved Ozzy Osbourne & the day we met, Ronnie bought me my 1st Ozzy CD.

The heart is for my deep and abiding love for Ronnie. I will never find another soulmate who adored me and loved me so deeply that sometimes it was hard to take it all in, but I was successful every time.

I will love Ronnie for forever ... and ever ... and ever ... and ever ... and ONE WHOLE DAY.

That was in our wedding wows that we wrote.

Today is Ronie memorial service. Pray that I will be strong. I know he is with me in spirit.

I awoke @ 4:30 this mornig, so I am a bit tired.

I've done a wash for a blouse that I'm wering with my white capris.

We're having a bar-b-que of ribs, potato salad w/ scallions, and baked beans @ Kathy's (Ronnie's baby sister) & William's house. Ronnie sure loved William's ribs.

I wrote an eulogy for the service. It's 2.5 pages long, but I think it's poignant. One of the songs Ronnie requested be played @ his service was Amazing Grace w/ bagpipes. That will get my eyes leaking for sure. I'm sure they'll be leaking anyway.

It's almost time to get dressed. I hope I don't fall asleep during the service. Wish me luck, love & strength.

My dearly beloved husband, Ronald Finnerty passed away @ 1:06pm, Friday June 20th, 2008.

As I've been walking around the apartment and when even sitting at the computer, I have felt his warmth as if has wrapped his arms around me in a big bear hug.

There is more to my life for some reason, and I know that Ronnie taught me to be strong and wise. We didn't get to work on the patience attribute, but maybe that will come in time. :)

Thank you to all of you friends on fb & hp and those who just stopped by to read my tales, for your love, support, prayers and thoughts.

You all do mean the world to me, and I would be most disappointed if you left me now. I can't bear to lose anyone else in my friends and family.

Know that if I don't send you a personal message it's because I have so MANY friends, it's hard to keep up with the ones I must write to outside my cyberworld.

I do adore each and every one of you, so please be patient with me as I go on the long road to healing.
