What thoughts will her tortured mind bring to her dreams this night?

That smiles plastered on with permanent ink.
She watches her tears nearly filling the sink.
Eyes locked in a gaze of herself in the mirror.
If only the feelings in her heart were much clearer.

She'd sell her soul to be sane once again, but then who wouldn't to save face with their friends!

What if they saw the lonliness you embody if someone doesn't tag along?
What if they realized you'd screw them over in a heartbeat just to keep your own ass clean!

Your eyes lie,

and you can never be sure if what you say is what you really mean.
