Unused to not being led....i headed over to my water trough......in the dark of the night the water was a black mirror.....but as the moon broke through......i caught the dazzling image of myself ...... tall and prond........and realised i may have more than one owner in this life.......and that i would i was sure to be blessed by the touch of more than one man

I had nt meant to do it but i had!.... the stable door had opened....the bolt finaly released..........and i gingerly stepped out into the dim glow of the sinking sun.....I stamped my hooves on the ground shaking the warm straw from my sturdy legs and letting my blanket slip from my back to reveal the whiteness of my fur in the dark.....i did nt want to hurt my owners feelings by running awy..but oh how i yearned for freedom........i know he loved me by the way he stroked me..but i wanted to be free...to make my own chioces!
