TRUST
Trust is something that has to be earned
because if it's not you will get burned.
This much in life I have learned,
I thought I could trust but that soon turned,
I know you cheated I know you lied,
The first time you told me I thought I had died.
After you left that night I sat and cried,
All I wanted to do was curl up and hide.
Now you are doing it again and it just isn't fair,
Because my love for you use to fill the air.
I thought you would change, I thought you would care,
And figure out that it just wasn't fair.
But you can't hold him and expect me to be there.

NEED
No matter what race color or creed,
We all have a special need.
We need to be a sister or brother,
We all need to love one another.
I can't understand why we must kill,
or drink or smoke or take a pill.
From out of the dark we all must fight,
To get us through this endless night.
If we all don't stop and think,
We will never fix this broken link.
I want to extend a helping hand,
to anyone across the land
If the burden has been going on to long,
Try to seek out someone who is strong.
I will give my heart and soul
To help you pay that final tole.
I will back you all the way,
When you need to talk both night and day.
One thing you must know is true,
This all must start inside of you

WEDDING DAY
This is the day I married you,
Now that our love is so true.
I look at you ad see the stars
coming down fro the heavens to be ours.
As we reach and take the first one,
That is when our life together has begun.
Every time your hand touches mine
that first star will sparkle and shine
so the whole world will see
That I am you and you are me.
And through our life of marital bliss
I want you to always remember this,
I LOVE YOU

TROUBLES
Just when I think you are starting to care
And think that you will really be there
you turn your cheek and step away.
"It's not going to work" is what you say.
When I ask you what I can do
You say "Nothing it's not you".
I wish I could see what is in your heart
So I would know if you really want to be apart.
I wish I could find the way to mend
Because I don't want this life to end.
But if we must go our separate ways,
I'm sure there will be better days.
And our life together will be
A long and happy memory
