The morning came still as usual
The sun rose but not with a glow
with a sense of dread and sorrow
as if to notify of the upcoming events
the sun now over the Hawaiian sky
But with it small shodows could be seen
One radio operaters small mistake
lead to world events the would shape its future
with a ear piercing wistle a blast could be seen
the smoke rose like a gyser from the ships deck
soon many more simialar scenes could be witnessed
But still those who reacted fought bravely
suprise the once key element had been lost
the enemy pulled back claiming victory
But to their discontent or misfortune
On that very day the begining of the end had begun
On that Breezy Sunday morning were only ash and smoke
covered the Islands tropical view and seren atmosphere
A mighty power began a fight for its life
One mans dream of total conquest lead to his ultimate down fall
So the US entered WWII and the Pacific Campaign Began
God Bless The US Troops who faught to keep this Country free
And to those who now take up arms to keep It that way
Freedom much like all else has a price sad but true
nothing in this life is free
