WE HAVE OUR DAUGHTER! EMMA NICOLE DOHMEN WAS BORN AT 6:15 PM CENTRAL STANDARD TIME ON TAX DAY, THE 15TH. SHE WEIGHED 8 POUNDS EVEN AND WAS 20 INCHES LONG.

So here I sit, away from the rest of my Company, because I ran my mouth with a stupid joke. Al Asad blows, its hotter here, windier here, dustier too. But on the bright side I have my own room, with a really good ac, an incredible gym, and all the food i can stuff through my gullet. It sucks here, but its better than being in some places.

Life in Iraq sux. It is dusty, and windy, and getting colder all the time. It has actually been about the same weather as back home in Missouri, but at least in MO there are trees to break the wind a little bit.
