OK -for those of us living in the Northern Hemisphere -Winter is fast approaching which is NOT my favorite time of yr : P I wanted to share something I wrote this about a couple Winters ago. Those who know me well -know Being Cold is my #1 Pet Peeve. So that one Winter Yrs ago, I was in my typical "Grinchy" Holiday Mood, and was thinking about the Late-Great Dr Seuss. Who to me, is without a doubt the greatest Author of Childrens Literature of all-time. So i deceided to sit down and write something with his unique style anf flair as inspiration!
The Leave's have all but fallen-
From the Mighty tree's that stand so talll
Just one of the tell-tale sign's-
Of the arrival of the Season of Fall
Nary a sound from the Birds or the Bee's,
For they now not have a Home-
Amongst the Bushes and Tree's
They say "Be kind to Mother Nature"-
And cruel I have never been to her
BUT, yet evey-year she seems to torment me-
With the Season we called Winter! >: (
Soon the Valley will be Blanketed with-
SNOW-SNOW-SNOW! : P
And all I have to say to that is:
NO-NO-NOOO.O
It's not the Rain nor the Snow I dispise-
It's just the Cold all-together
I wish it would stay Spring all-Year-Round!
