I would have thought it was so simple. NFS = Not For Sale.

It has been argued that buying an NFS pet is not stealing, as the pet was paid for. But then again, if you take something that's not for sale, it is still theft regardless of whether you leave some monetary compensation or not.

On a characteristically soft Sunday afternoon in Dublin's Fair City it strikes me how much times change. A short eight months ago I was homeless and heartbroken, bouncing from sofa to sofa a thousand miles from home. Now I'm laughin... still heartbroken but my home is halfway between the Hilton and the Tennis and Raquetball Club on Mercedes Row, I've gone and gotten one of those 9 to 5s and, most importantly, I'm home.

This week my home gave voice to the voiceless across Europe and, as the only country to hold a referendum on a wholesale restructuring of the EU, rejected the measure by a large margin. Doubtless to say, the Powers That Be are less than pleased with us, but in all fairness that is the Essence of Democracy: letting The People decide.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out, but I'm proud to be here, right in the middle of it. Home at last.

Even as the wind brandishes the rain like a weapon and uses it to batter my windows with a fury, I can't help but be overcome with a sensation of contentment as I look around my new apartment on the outskirts of Dublin, the place I have come to call home.

I wouldn't trade the time I've spent away for anything in the world, not only because it's the trying times of your life that strengthen you, but also due to the fact that I would not be who I am today without all the experiences I have had over the past few years. And I wouldn't trade those memories and the people I've met along the way for anything.

But still, home is home.

it's been a roller coaster ride here in sweden, and i wouldn't trade the memories or the people i met for anything.
