On a cold and crisp spring morning I awoke to the sound of birds chirping in the trees just outside my tent. Next to me, I felt her stir in my arms. As I look at her, she opened her eyes only slightly to peek at me through sleepy eyes and a smile that could melt the frost that covered our tent.
We were camping on the slopes of the Cederberg mountains in South Arica. Nature in all it's majesty surrounded us and with the rising sun came a sight that took ones breath away and made you feel as insignificant as the smallest ant that walked the earth. If you do not believe in God as I do, then this would sureley change your mind, because in the sight of such splendour, one can not deny that there is a greater power that we mortals can not understand.
I urged the beauty to join me in watching the sun rise over the mountain tops and as we sat next to one another, under a single blanket to keep out the morning chill, we saw something that neither of us would readily forget.
