I totally get what you're saying about how life takes us away from the things that actually matter most to us, it's up to us to find our way back to ourselves and those things that move us most, easier said than done or so it seems for many. You're quite right, it's not something you choose to become, you can't sign up for it, it is indeed a calling, would love to share my story with you and how i found myself moving in this direction.also am very interested to hear the stuff that's happened to you, sounds like you've got quite a story to tell yourself :) I also have a very interesting invitation to give to you..I will be graduating as a Shaman in april next year, a full on 4 day ceremony with my tribe and many of my friends, it's an open party meaning anyone and everyone is welcome. if you're interested to connect and be part of this amazing experience, you're hereby invited to come join me and see how this process has been done for so many generations. it truly will be a once in a life time opportunity and something tells me it's where you need to be...maybe this is why that tug has become stronger lately..

Sorry it took so long. If you don't mind and you have the time, I have a million questions. This is a subject that has been close to my heart but could never get a real grasp on it. I feel like my head was so wrapped up in the world and survival that I was missing the big picture, if that makes any sense. Things are changing now.
Ok so first, I was under the impression that you don't choose to be a Shaman rather you are chosen. It is your calling, who you are and ment to be. Oh and by the way, you never have to worry about me. Nothing harmful ever happens to me, boy do I have stories. My harm comes in my own folly. You have me so excited in so many ways, I've had this tug on me for years towards Africa and in the last little while it seems to be getting stronger and to talk to someone from there just blows my mind.
I hope you understand what I mean. I've even gone back to school with the idea that this will be my ticket over there. If it's easier to email, you can get me at believe_big@hotmail.com. I'm in town for the next 2 weeks then I'm back in the bush for 2 weeks. Take care

Yeah, i've had a feeling we'd end up going into conversations about my experience and i look forward to hear yours too. Like you said, everything has it's reason. That's probably why the spirits told me to buy you, i don't ask questions i just follow orders haha. You give me a shout when the time is right, i'll be around (add me if u want) take care :)

All is good, thanks for asking, life has been busy and I've only been able to spend a few minutes at a time on the internet. I'll send a proper message when I get more time. I wanted to talk more about your Shaman experience and learn more. I've done some reading on it years ago and it really captures my interest. I did work years ago with native youth and had a chance to learn a little and had some people tell me some funky things. For some reason that all got put on a shelf and didn't think much about it until I met you. Everything has it's season. I look forward talking with you more. Take care.
