Alright. Now I have my results of mist-hunting on my computer. This show will include some of pictures from both of my mist-hunting adventures. Some of pictures will be later available the Teleppi's Chest and all those may or may not included in this gallery. Feed-back is welcome.

Yesterday mist-hunting was failure by means of pictures taken. Ouh well, case of ART pictures they were success, but not in common means. Anyway, today was rainy so I was prepared to mist-hunting in a good time - and now I got pictures that felt to be successful. ö.ö

And even less mist than yesterday and no venturing in true forest, it got scary again. ^^' Hearing cracking of wood under the boot isn't nice thing for imagination if you known that you should be alone. Especially if cracking actually doesn't end when you start to listen it but only after you start to turn and what caused it.
...and once I got back to my keyboard, sound of door from downstairs was heard. It was my dad who just returned from long road-trip... but he weren't on that moment I was still outside. *wondering* Didn't heard sound of engine or spotted lights of car when he came, normally I'm aware of every car that comes here. Good (bad) timing this time, I guess. ^^'

Note to Self, Fact One: Having own camera helps a lot.
Note to Self, Fact Two: Having camera 'borrowed' from sleeping person is risky...
Note to Self, Fact Three: ...and it usually doesn't include usage-guide.
Note to Self, Fact Four: No picture of mist is successful if camera thinks its own because...
Note to Self, Fact Five: ...cameras do not know what the mist is. ><
Note to Self, Fact Six: Deepening Mist can actually get scary.
Note to Self, Fact Seven: Abandoned little huts middle of misty woods are pretty scary too.
Note to Self, Fact Eight: Actual forests has no strong mist within.
Note to Self, Fact Nine: Tip Eight do not make forest less scarier.
Note to Self, Fact Ten: Reading about risks being attacked by velociraptors before going out isn't good for imagination.
Note to Self, Fact Eleven: Simple being aware of access to mobile phone gives feeling of secure..
Note to Self, Fact Twelve: The ultimate horror strikes when - after coming back in - you realize that your mobile phone has lied all the time next to the keyboard...

Sadly, I fear that no single picture will be good either because I do not know how to handle the camera or because digicameras just can't understand effect of mist. Almost like boiling veil would have placed right front of camera that is seen only in the photo itself...

Surprise! I will not tell tales of my dreams this time!

Sad thing is, I didn't have camera. Yesterday we did have huge rainfall, 30mm water within a hour. On neighbor's field (doesn't have moats) water did run like a river! It was 3 yards wide! Pretty cool stuff. ^^

Well, in the night, the mist came. Everything was under strong mist. It was everywhere. All the surroundings just vanished. And due Finnish summer night, it wasn't dark, just misty. And I was able to hear the river. I can't remember that I would have done that ever before from our own yard. Fall is almost 3km upstream.

Mist vanished only just before 9am at the morning. Mists are awesome.~~

And today we cleared barn. We chopped off wooden structures we didn't anymore. There was lots of wood that we couldn't think to burn in the fireplaces, so we placed them on our fire spot burnt those away and burnt very well I have to say! It was hot - couldn't stand within 5 yards. Even later I was unable to poke the fire with manure fork, as I couldn't get close enough before the heat felt too much on my face.

Meant to burn one cardboard box also. Box room enough for 10 kg of potatoes. It was big enough that I was able to place my forearm in it... Volá! I got a heat shield for myself. Surprising effective how simple matters absorb heat, and cardboard was solid enough to not burst in the flames very instantly or melt away.

I didn't notice my aunt who did bring some more stuff to burn. She laughed a lot. I was surely funny looking - armed with cardboard box as a shield, manure work as a weapon, making hit-and-run poking strikes towards the fire...

Can't remember when I last time have had as much fun while dealing with fire. =^-^=
