dark
fearless emotions left the brave
into this place that left no trace
of human existence
brought to extinction.

these blunt cliffs tell many stories.
fallen heroes, fools with glory
thoughts, bled deep into this hole
that keeps the living dead alone.

i can see only a path,
with marks of madness inscribed
onto its bricks with blood.

fear spreads and screams are let
loose so fools can run and pools
can drown the few brave clowns
that dared enter this school
of cruelty.

angels cries break free from darkness,
demons hide behind this mess
of purity disfigured of its beauty,
fell on duty.

the wind is cruel and rules the mind
of those with hope long gone behind.
the air itself is full of hate and fuels the weight
of this darkness spread across the cross.

the end of the road ends in pitch black,
only a tower can be seen through this mass of fog.
there stands alone and waiting the dark lord hopping
for a challenger to arise....
waiting for a worthy mortal soul, or for a foolish demon
to come and challenge his control and succumb to
darkness without a song ....in his memory.
dark is the path your mind can bring to fact.
