About me:
I'm 21, born and raised in Maryland. I'm an animal lover, as well as registered hunter, the love goes both ways. I'm simple, yet complex. An open book, but I'm shy. I'm confident around my friends, and withdrawn around new people. I prefer listening over talking, but I'll put my two sense in if anyone is willing to listen. Anyway, I have two pet rats, a corn snake and a cat. I play World of Warcraft, and yes, I fight like a girl...meaning I'll kick your ass on my level 80 hunter. Anything else you wanna know? Ask away.

Maybe we're not supposed to be happy. Maybe gratitude has nothing to do with joy. Maybe being grateful means recognizing what you have for what it is. Appreciating small victories. Admiring the struggle it takes simply to be human. Maybe we're thankful for the familiar things we know. And maybe we're thankful for the things we'll never know. At the end of the day, the fact that we have the courage to still be standing is reason enough to celebrate.
