"You spend alot of time here, don't you?" Doranda asks as she sits down next to me on the rock. I can tell she's still a little weak from the transformation, but doing much better.
"Mmm, it reminds me of a simpler time, when the world was untainted by mankind." I look out at the magnificent veiw in front of me, a gorgeous waterfall surrounded by greenery, and stunning color from the flowers scattered about.
She hesitates for a moment then asks, "I hope you don't mind me asking, but how old are you?" She's fidgeting with a loose thread on the hole in her jeans, obviously nervous about asking me this question.
"1452 years old, and don't worry about offending me Doranda, words don't phase me quite so much as they did years ago. What you need to worry about is other vampires. I chose you because I sensed that you have the potential to be strong, very strong. You need to have confidence in what you say, only be blunt when you know that you can defend yourself, your strength will come in time, I will teach you how to fight. Until then choose your words wisely. I have faith that you won't let me down." I say this knowing she will be stunned, I also know what she will take this advice to heart and learn from it.
The sun starts to set, "Now, it is time that we feed."

For a dear friend.

She comes to one of my bashes; I spot her immediately. She’s gorgeous with her fair skin and her beautiful blue eyes, not to mention the absolutely irresistible smell coming from her; I can’t take my eyes off of this striking woman. I must talk to her, I cross the room, and her body language tells me that she’s totally comfortable with her surroundings.
“Hello, how are you doing this evening? Are you having a nice time?” I smile and she realizes who I am. She smiles back, what a lovely smile.
“Doing great, I’m having a wonderful time, thanks.” She replies; there’s something in her voice that I can’t quite make out.
“What is your name, my sweet?” I ask, leaning against the wall that is next to me.
“I’m Doranda, you’re Naomi, right?” She asks the question, although it sounds more like a statement.
“Your correct, how did you know that?” I pose the question, already knowing the answer.
“You’re infamous all around the world. I feel like royalty being invited to this party.” Doranda states. There’s longing in her eyes. I know what I must do now. I brush my fingers lightly down her jaw line to her neck. She leans her head back baring her jugular. I need to be more than blood bonded to this human. The sweet sensual blood that comes from her is indescribable. I pull away, catching a glimpse of her face; there is no pain on it, only pleasure.
“Would you join me for eternity Doranda? I see something in you that I don’t see often. Please I would love to share my knowledge with you and help you become as infamous as I am. We can become an unstoppable duo.” After I say this, I know I don’t need to say anymore, she’s convinced. I take the knife from my pocket and cut my wrist, she goes for the wound without a word.

"AAAAHHH F*CK" The boy bolts up right screaming in excruciating pain. He looks around in confusion, fear crosses his face.
"Don't worry, your safe, you feel pain because I've turned you. The pain will cease in a matter of days." He looks at me in horror. Smirking I add, "You took the blood that I offered you willingly. You'll need to feed later, I'll take you out and show you the ropes."
"A matter of days?! Is there anything to kill the pain? God, my body is aching, please take this pain away.." He rubs his neck and cringes. He's not going to like my answer.
"I can't do anything about the pain, nothing will help even if you tried."
"Well that's f*cked. So whats your name anyways? From what I know, since you turned me I'm practically yours. I might as well find out something about you." he murmured looking at his hands. In a split second several emotions crossed his face, longing, gloom, fright, curiousity. He looked up at me then, waiting for a reply.
"Naomi, you should really try to sleep again, it will pass the time. I'll tell you more about myself later." I get up go over to him kiss him on the cheek and start walking towards the door, turning around I add, "I'm going out to feed, I'll be back later, I wouldn't go anywhere if I were you, not that you could with the pain that your in." I turn around and start towards the door again. I giggle to myself, he's cute, he'll do fine as a vampire, a little whiny but that's to be expected.

Its midnight, the best time of night for feeding. I choose my victim carefully, he looks to be about 17 or 18 years old. He's niave enough to think he can conquer the world, but wise enough to know that I'm not the safest creature to be around. He isn't so willing this time. Perfect. I love the thrill of the chase. The boy is inebriated, but not so much so that he can't comprehend something's wrong, stumbling through the woods he trips over a tree root, time to go in for the kill. I leap catching him off gaurd, I pin him to the ground taking his head in my hands, I start to feed, immediate satisfaction. Then it occurs to me, I could turn him, wouldn't that be nice.. a fledgling. A grim smile sneaks across my flawless face. I disengage, biting my own wrist, I hold my arm up to his mouth. "Drink boy, it will make you stronger." He drinks the blood that I so generously give to him. I know that he will be in agonizing pain for the next couple of days, I pick him up and take him to my home where he can rest. I'll do anything I can to ease his pain, but it won't be much. He'll have to endure much pain but he can make it through, I can feel it.
