I'm home... Back in Red Deer, sure feels good. As much as I hate moving... And unpacking is my least favorite part. So I'm taking a break from it... I have to unpack and repack the rest of my house stuff, labelling boxes and shiz, because I'm staying with the folks for now. Cross your fingers for me that we'll all make it through alive. Two months tops, and I'll be back on my feet.

I never thought I'd be homesick for a place I had no real attachment to... But now that I think about it, I may not have had real family there, but I had coworkers who turned into friends, and friends who turned into family(dysfunctional that it was). It's hard not to get a little down about what I left behind, even if staying would've meant turning my back on something very important to me, and denying the feelings I had. I won't do that, it's not fair to me, or to him. I sure miss seeing him near every day though, and how he could make my day with just a smile and a hello. Cross your fingers for me that he makes it out to visit soon.
