my boyfriend's sister has a foreign exchange student from Germany living with her family. today i went with them to a foreign exchange student luncheon. it was so neat to see all the students from Sweden, Germany, Columbia, & Taiwan together. they each brought a food dish from their native country and the food was amazing! there were lots of meatballs and potato pancakes and meats. YUM! i think i might help drive the kids to the Grand Canyon in april. six days on the road with foreign teenagers... hmmm. i have a good time with Verena (the girl living with my "sister in law"). she reminds me a lot of myself when i was her age. maybe someday i'll be a host parent to a kid from some far off land. :)

Went to see Will Ferrell and the Funny or Die Comedy tour on Monday 2/4. It was great!! My face hurt from laughing so much!! He fought ninjas on stage, delivered a baby, came out as Ron Burgandy, and made me laugh harder than I have in a long time! Oh... Zach Galifianakis, Demetri Martin, Nick Swardson & Andrea Savage were pretty funny too!
This is Will Ferrell... he's a lot taller in person... haha
