I've been away from FB for a few days as I'm sure some have noticed, I got tied up with some RL stuffs, a lot of activity with the station (RadioRadio) & the American Cancer Society's (ACS) Relay For Life (RFL) in Second Life (SL)(tm) in which RadioRadio is participating.

Other thing too was for some reason the computer was running uber slow and FB seems to lag it out, did a lot of maintenance and it seems better now but I've read elsewhere that FB doesn't run as well in FireFox as it does in other browsers (or maybe just IE)? Has anyone else heard this? That would be contrary to nearly everything else out there that does run better in FireFox.

Yesterday I went to a memorial for my best friend's little brother who died this March of cancer, I've known them for about 27 years. He was barely 40 years old, and leaves behind a wife, and two incredibly adorable 4 year olds.

As if I didn't have enough reasons to fund raise for ACS! My dad is a cancer survivor, as are 3 of his 6 brothers, lost my great aunt and great uncle to it, an aunt is fighting it right now too. I've lost friends, and folks I know have fought it, some have lost, and/or know folks that are fighting or have lost their battles with cancer.

I know lots of you folks that visit these pages might not be Second Life residents, and yet might be interested in helping out. I seem to keep the hand soreness at a better than tolerable level w/Tylenol, it's about 80% of the arthritis drug but that's better than no pain in the hand and an ulcer in the tum tum. Been slogging through politics and inanity (don't ask trust me) with RFL committee stuff, but the campaign itself is going along just fine. SL crashes, kiosks seize up, web site goes down and yet folks are generously donating very steadily, which is beyond fantastic. The really good news is that through it all the money goes where it should so it just looks stupid but the ACS still gets the donations, which of course is what matters!

Just got back from the Dr.'s (checkup) and all the news was good except one. My new arthritis medicine is a no-no, (not the goo injections, that's ok) so I'm gonna have to deal w/sore mitts (thumbs) until we talk to another Dr. or two and see if there's an option beyond Tylenol. And cutting out typing and fiddling on the computer are NOT optons!

KEN LEE - I had to put this in here!

My cousin sent me this video that I seem to have missed when it made the rounds on YouTube earlier, and I sent it to a few friends and it seems to be spreading in that distinctive, viral manner all over SL, so I figure you FB folks might enjoy this too!

I Ken Lee w/out hearing this song every day, it makes me giggle and frankly the singer's got guts and gumption if an unusual grasp of English.
