Musings on life 2. Cats. This is the life of my cat. Wake up when the blonde feeder/patter human rouses herself. Allow human to pat me momentarily to make her happy, then spring from the bed to show her where the fridge and food are. When she stumbles in the darkness of the morning, wind my way around her legs to lead the way. Snigger when she trips and swears. Position myself between the coffee machine and the human and meow my morning hunger whilst directing meaningful glances at the fridge. When food is delivered, immediately remove it from plate and smear it across the floor for seasoning. Once eaten, totally ignore human (her work is done) and head back to bed where I can cynically observe human's preparations for work. Meaningfully twitch whiskers when she asks 'does my ass look big in this', watch her try three different clothing combinations out of one eye practising varying expressions of alarm. Gloat as she leaves for work. Maintain position all day, scratch occasionally, and resume afternoon routine (same as morning routine) when human returns from work. Purrrr.

Musings on life 1. Humanity - we are peculiar creatures socialized into behaviour, striving for god knows what, forgetting what our priorities should be. OK, maybe i should just apply this adage to myself. Spending too much time on faceless Facebook for what return? Dunno...but buggered if I feel like doing anything real or facing people of flesh and blood.
