You know, I recently found out the new tagline for the Singapore Tote Board - "Giving hope, Improving lives".

If that is not irony at its finest, I do not know what is.

The Singapore Tote Board, for those in the dark, holds the right to operate "Horse racing and totalisator operations through its agent and proprietary club, the Singapore Turf Club" as well as "4D, Toto, Singapore Sweep and football betting through its agent and wholly-owned subsidiary, Singapore Pools". Which in short is legal, goverment approved gambling.

Incidently, the tagline for Singapore Pools, which I also found humourous is "Toward Community Purpose and Benefit". Great stuff, really.

Some songs remind me of certain periods in my life that are completely random, yet treasured - they made me the person i am.

Good life (Leslie Mills) - skipping down the steps from school talking and laughing at 17
I try (Macy Gray) - winding through the alleys just after work at 19
Pon de Replay (Rihanna) - walking and taking in the sights after work at 20

and other songs, and other memories.
