Norton's Basin.
Was a great place to go, for anyone local to western Sydney, it's just a few km's before Bent's Basin.
For those who don't, these are swimming holes in the bush here.
But I must say, Norton's was better than Bent's, apart from the climb back to the top (Glad it started to sprinkle on our journey back).
There was parking and the water isn't quite so scary. Bent's is always packed so you gotta walk a fair distance usually. And no one has made it to the bottom of Bent's before, bit freaky that. Especially when u get big things swim between ur legs in the middle of it and have no idea what it was.
And we also found a great rock ledge we can set up as a stage there with excelent acoustics from it. If anyone is interested (we certainly are) let me know and i'm sure u'll be welcome for the show.
So after Norton's we went back to a mates house and set up stage out the front for a party. Oh how my legs are sore from all the running around and jumping up and down the rocks and the stage all day. It was a great day all in all and i wish to be doing more of this stuff.
Maybe go camping next time...
