Long time between these pet blog things. I spet the weekend doing watercolour paintings with Sydney based artist Elizabeth Boustead. Was a lot of non alcohol based fun. I have needed the last few weeks off since the Easter long weekend. Two days at the festival had its toll. Great weather down the penninsula though. Can't wait to get back down there this weekend. If its not too cold perhaps a surf or the hot springs. Besides that, not much else, work, long lunches and eating in bed. I guess that can sum up the last few weeks.

Ok so the post party low down was a little later than expected. Very big weekend. I would have to say out of all my little outings over the summer, this would have easily topped it. What do I say? Besides donning a silver jump suit. fake moustashes and several beer snorkels I was well on the way to a fabulous Catchya in the Rye. There is one memory I can't recall, the large bruise on my leg. Perhaps when nikki decided to jump in the hammock with me and we both ended up face first in the dirt. I'll put some photos up so it can remind me of the night - my memory seems to fail me somewhat.

So after the Australia day long weekend the next weekend seems to be taking its time to come. I'm going to be tripping down the coast to Rye to a friends party. I've even bought a pinata for the occasion although I'm getting more and more attatched it the angry crepe paper bull. Besides filling his ass full of red skins and lollies i've also given him a name. Alistair. Anyway, like all good pinatas he's going to have the crap belted out of him sooner or later. Alistair wont be the celebrity at the party, a few Melbourne DJ's, a faux mexican wrestling match, and some crazy kids imported from Chapel Street in Melbourne just for the mix. I'll let you know about all the madness of the party later on. Hooroo.
