If rules are meant to be broken, and there are exceptions to every rule....
why is it we place these 'rules' on ourselves anyway....
I guess it's easier for us to communicate to other people if we can put things in neat little boxes or talk in broad sweeping strokes of generalisations.
The truth of course is far more complex and far more intriguing.
Life is never black and white it's a whole spectrum of shades of grey,
and grey in this case is anything but drab and dull.
My life at the moment is proving unpredictable, uncertain and maybe just maybe I'm learning to appreciate the grey.
Of course after all this witter about hues I do have to give a nod of appreciation and admiration to my Orange gal ;)

Alas as with anything you can have too much of a good thing, not to mention there's only so many conversations about different types of strings that a completely none musical person can stand.
And after having my heart broken I swore off my guitarist addiction and went cold turkey...
To the point of abandoning one poor lad mid smooch when he said he played guitar, I yelled 'Oh for Fuck sake' and stormed off. lol
Anyway everyone knows that when you give something up, you tend to replace it with some thing else, and so as I had always gone for the younger guy and they had always gone for me.
My new passion was born.
