So I have a friend named Tony E. that's a bit of a strange person. Then again, being president of the Anime club and a DM for a pokemon D&D game isn't exactly indicators of normalcy. But I was a little surprised when Jaimos and I came to the D&D table and Tony greeted us. He said hello to the both of us, then looked to me then said,

"Good morning D-chan, good to see that you're alive today <3"

I was kind of confused, and mentioned that I'm glad that I was alive also. He finally went on to explain that Friday night he had a dream where I died of a heart attack. More specifically, while hanging out with everybody I complained of my chest hurting and went off to a corner to sleep it off, then when everybody was ready to go somewhere else, they tried waking me up, and I was already dead.

All in all, I'm glad to be alive, I guess ^.^

Judo is quite something. It's been a while since I've been to a Judo club session, and this time around it really showed. Josiah surprised me with a swift leg sweep multiple times, and by the end of Judo my arms were like jelly.

One of the fun things is practicing with my friend Danni, and she puts up a good fight. A lot of times we just pounce and try to fight each other to the best of our Judo abilities, but nine times out of ten I pin her (partly because I'm at least 10 pounds heavier -.-;; ), and we both usually do that so that we could get sufficiently tired and get all of the tomfoolery out of the way before we go onto the serious stuff.

Another is Randori, more or less free sparring. I pretty much suck at it, but it's always a good time to try and get that one point to win. One time I got three-eigths of a point, but Sean then did a one-footed flip that made me land on my back, which got him the one point.

All in all, a good Judo session, and ready to be back there Friday.

So, for those of you wondering (which probably isn't a large number of people), I know some languages. I'm curretly taking Chinese, and up until last semester I was taking Japanese. Right now in Chinese I'm at the point where I can compliment people, tell the basics of my day, and somewhat read the characters. Of course, I'm still horrible at writing the characters right off the top of my head, much less being able to use Chinese as a regular conversation language. That will have to take time.

Time that I don't think four years will cover.

There's a person I love talking to, even if we're only able to talk once a week. He is just as silly as me, and knows better than I do when to be serious or not. One of my favorite times was when we were discussing football teams since my hometeam is the Seahawks while he favors the Steelers. So it was a throwback to when we were predicting who'd win, and I thought he said that his team made it to the superbowl. Long story short, I got a little annoyed and said:

Me: "You know, you make me sigh, but I love you."
Him: "Ha-ha, I make you sigh and you still love me. You love me and are stuck with me~"

Which of course got me to smile and laugh, helping me get over the sting of the Packers losing. It's moments like that with him that make my week good in the end ^.^
