One of the happest days of my life:

One day after school I went to my best friends house to chill. She had just gotton a new kitten and I really wanted to meet it. When we got to her house, we went upstairs to find her new kitten. "Madi. This is Kody." She said. He was so cute. We played and cuddledhim for hours, then I finally asked "What is Kody short for?" I asked. "It's short for Kodiak." She replied. I was so exsited to go home and tell my parents about her new kitten. When I got home, I told my mum and brother about Kody. I remember saying "Oh mum. I know we have Calli (my oldest cat) but I would really LOVE a new kitten." Normally she would do something like role her eyes at me or try to explain to me that we didn't need another cat. But this time she looked at my brother and my brother looked at her. I remember thinking something along the lines of "Whats going on? Did I miss something?" So I said what was on my mind. "What? Why are you guys acting so weired? Come on tell me." My brother just gave my mum this look that had "Can we tell her?" written all over it. My mum finally said... "You can tell her." "Tell me what? Tell me what!" I remember asking. "We're getting a new......KITTEN!!!" He yelled. I was so exsited!
That night my brother had to get ready to go to some fancy pantsy event at his school. So he went to get ready. As we were waiting for the "Kitten People" to get here and drop her off, my mum expaind to me how we got in contact with Lucy's owners. Because she works for the school boared, and the "Kitten People" do to, they became in contact through their little chat thingy. After what felt like hours, which was only like 10 mins., we went down stairs to pick her up. The "Kitten People" had called for directions to our house, my mum mentioned that my brother was going to an event, it turned out that her daughter was too. So he ended up getting a drive.
I remember after bringing her up and nameing her Lucy, I put her on the edge of the couch and went to get a drink. I came into the living room 5 mins, later, and guess who was sound asleep on the edge of the couch. SHE WAS SO CUTE!!!
Now that I look back on this, I can't beleave that our BIG puff (nickname that was receaved to Lucy soon after we reolized that she was so PUFFY) was ever that small.
This was really one of the best days of my life.

(Years later the family recently receaved 2 more loving kittens Willow and Annie Fae...)
