Several days out and nothing to report in the form of discovery. I have come across several strange looking trees, though. They seem to eminate and glow as I grew closer, but in fear of what this might mean I backed off. I have heard stories of strange beings that lurk inside trees and fool the stupid minded into doing their bidding. I do not wish to be used as a slave.

I have made some progress elsewhere, however, as I have reached a beautiful stream. I am about to make camp here for the day and take a bath. God, it has only been five days and I'm already missing home and comforts. Alas, I must carry on or I will forever be ignorant to who I am.

Ever since I was young I felt like I didn't belong. I always felt like I was different, unique, something more than what I was being told by my family. Well, tonight I will set foot outside of my home and venture in search of...who I am, what I am, where I have come from.

I still have to pack my shit and ready myself for the journey. I know it won't be easy and I know that whatever I may find I might not like it. This is the stuff I have braced myself for. What I have not been able to brace myself for is what the local soothsayers in my village have told me about the creatures that lurk outside the walls of our village.

They say there's Darkness ahead of me. That I must bring with me a holy cross for safety. I must speak to my friend and constant, Johnathan Harker first and see if he can assist me in such a thing.

I must be off now to do such, but fear not friends. I will do my best to report back as often as possible. Keep you up-to-date on my progress. Wish me luck.
