this guy named frodo got a ring. frodo and sam followed another thing named gollum to a place called mordor...which one does not simply walk into, i might add. lots of fighting ensued and eventually gollum, the ring, and frodo's finger fell into lava...it was hot. everyone who didn't die lived happily ever after. the end.
