Short and sweet: I was working late yesterday and spent the night in my office. I feel a bit *gross* right now, but I'm going to stay here for a while and get some work done.

The way that I find people now is simple and sound better. I find them by checking my recent thumbs. The people that give the most thumbs are in general the most active and generous users. And not *selfish* trying to get a bunch of thumbs without giving any ;P shame on those ones.

You know what really grinds my gears? (since we were watching Family Guy)

Bad mixing. When people don't know what they are doing and try to mix audio and do a horrible job. For instance, preamping the bass so that it is just way too loud and drowns everything out. I hate that. I know most people don't actually listen to what they are hearing but HEY! you know... If you mix it post-production or even pre-production and screw it up, then I have to go out of my way to unmix it before I can make it sound reasonable.

Speaking of which, note to self: Remember to remind J.J. to send the master tracks so you can remix (or have it remixed) his album, Always.
