I just started Aikido again. The amount of sessions I have been to is five, plus the Pat Hendricks sensei seminar. Tonight, when sensei said we would go easy, my partner decided to go hard. He went harder with me than any one ever has, and I even felt pain during Ikkyo. He pushed me to use my physical strength, of which I have almost none. Aikido is not about brute force, which is why I participate. If it is a battle of strength, I will lose.
that's just a rant of this moment...also, I think I screwed up my back...or he did when he threw me so hard.
