Well if you're getting rejected, it must be because they're not good enough for you! You sound like a great person. Agreed too on the thoughts. Only way to tell is if they tell you how they are. That's why I prefer it when people just ask me what's up, or telling me what's up, rather than just ignoring issues or pretending to be something you're not! Unfortunately, nobody I know really says what they feel. Guess it's a defense mechanism they've built up or something.

Still, I don't think happiness is hard to find, as long as you're honest to yourself firstly, and secondly to the people you care about. There's more to it than that but it's a good start I think anyway. Enough about me blabbing on though! Bad habit :)

I find myself at my happiest when I've made others happy, because I just want to be around people and I guess be there for them. Or something like that... Make sense?

Guess my life has some trouble starting up, if that last line of yours is true. But I'm getting there! Should have turned the key quite some years back... But I've always been very withdrawn from people in general.
