Hey Everyone!!! So we have a new addition to the Queen Family!! His name is Duke and he is a lab/pit mix, and we adopted him today from the Seminole County Shelter. He will be coming home with us on Monday (because of the spaying, and microchip placement). He came from an abused home, but he opened up to us so much that the people working at the shelter were shocked. Damary and I like to say he picked us. Annabelle kept going to give him kisses. Ayanna wanted him to come home with us today. Here is a body pciture of him. I also added the other ones we took :)

For all of my married friends:

Remember how when you were a child and you had such a crush on someone in your class? Remember how you tried to fight back the tears as you watched them hand a Valentine to someone else?

Remember how, when you were older, and you "knew everything" and you just knew you had found the person you were gonna be with for the rest of your life (even though you had lived less than a quarter of yours)?? Remember how you felt when that person handed you your heart ripped straight out of your chest??

Remember how, when you thought you were an "adult" and you just were too smart to let anyone play you or your emotions?? Remember when you met someone that was "different than the rest"?? Remember how you felt your "life was over" when they devastated your belief in love??

My point is simply this:
Remember after all of those times, we would pray from our mouths to God's Ears how we just wanted Him to send us someone that would see the light in our soul's?? We just wanted someone to appreciate us....someone to love us for all of our faults. Someone who would take our heart and protect it with loving, forgiving, nurturing arms.

So the next time you are just so angry at your husband/wife because of whatever reason that won't even matter in 24 hours...try and remember one thing. That person may not be perfect, but they are perfect for you, They are so perfect God Himself thought enough of that person to hand pick and deliver them to you.

Before anyone ask, no nothing happened, Damary and I are fine. Just thoughts that flow through my mind in the hours of the night when the world is at rest.

You should stop by and read this at least once a day. You may not realize it, but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world that you would die for.

2. At least 15 people in this world love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don't like you.

5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world has turned its back on you take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received. Forget about the rude remarks.

Ok, so I saw my surgeon and he says I have damaged my IT Band in my left knee, the condition is called ITBS (Iliotibial Band Syndrome) commonly called Runner's Knee. I have some exercises, and orders to lay off the crutches and knee brace for a month. I go back to see him to see how I am doing. So sometimes I am okay, no pain, and other times Ayanna and Annabelle walk better than I do!! :) Thank you to all of you who have asked about it, and sent me well wishes!!! I am truly blessed!!

Ok, in case you can't see from my new picture...I AM BACK ON CRUTCHES!! I haven't been on these things in 5 freakin years!! I have what appears to be a sprained knee. I can't put any weight on it, and I am in a lot of pain!! Oh joy, oh what fun.
