I dreamed recently that I was suspended in space. Then, light bent around the stars immediately in front of me and warped to reveal the shape of a human body. I recognised the shape of this body as my own and entered.

I found myself sitting on an invisible two-dimensional plane plane, cross-legged with a perfectly circular pool in front of me, with ripples beating slowly out of the center at around my heart rate. I somehow knew that if I could get to the edge of the plane and look at its underside. I'd see nothing but the stars above me; not my starlight-bending body, nor the pool.

As I sat, contemplating this pool, a tree appeared on its far side. I stood and walked to the tree, and knew it as the tree of knowledge from exodus. But, something was wrong. Understanding suddenly filled me. We'd been deluded into thinking it was a tree of knowledge. The fruit on this tree was the fruit of fear. Knowledge is a tool, to be used as it's weilder chooses, for good or ill.

Upon realising this, a great yin-yang symbol appeared beneath me, and the tree of fear was planted in in the white dot of the yin-side. I turned around and saw another tree planted in the yang side of the symbol. I crossed to this tree, and discovered that it was the tree of creation.

I bit of its fruit and felt the fear wash away. I knew in the instant of biting this fruit that we can only truly create when we are fearless.

Sexless to be, more dogma to disbelieve.

The clown and I, he waves back at me from the mirror.

I rub away the face paint, the clown, he wipes his.
I remove my rubber nose, the clown, he removes his.
I rub away my ruby red smile, but the clown, he leaves his.

The clown, he ain't so keen to let the carnival leave town.
The clown, he ain't so keen to let me rub away my frown.

The clown, he's more of me than I care for him to be.
The clown, he ain't the clown that I thought he'd be.

The clown, you see, he doesn't need me.
And it's a crying shame when your mirror image runs free.
So now, I take the only solution I can see....
