They say that beauty is in
the eye of the beholder,
But I tend to disagree.
Beauty is that which we cannot
define; it is within everything.

Beauty is what makes us cry,
Beauty is what makes us smile.
Beauty is what steals our breath,
And beauty takes us one more mile.
Beauty is the stars at night,
Beauty is the rain.
Beauty is the sun that shines,
And beauty is the pain.
Beauty gives and takes our minds,
Beauty whispers in the sky.
Beauty takes on human form,
But even beauty dies.

I cannot begin to say,
How this affected me.
Words alone cannot describe,
The simpleness of what I see.
If I could catch it in a jar,
To take to show and tell,
I would prove that it exists,
And all then would be well.

Beauty is your almond eyes,
Beauty is your hair.
Beauty is your silent smile,
And beauty is your care.
Beauty lies within your heart,
Beauty lies within your mind.
Beauty lies within your soul,
And beauty, too, lies within mine.
Beauty is what I think of you,
Beauty is what you are of.

Life is like a winter's day,
Where the sun is only a memory,
Where I am cold and numb, inside,
Wrapped up in my own tragedy.
