Just venting!

That's it ! I have had it! I am sick of men! What the hell is wrong, I am begining to believe I was born equipped with a Jerk magnet! The ones I have been involved with either want to beat you untill your own mother does'nt recognize you, drink themselves into a coma or become drug addicts and leave the bank account dry as the Sahara. So I'm wondering if the years of physical abuse I endured have left me too compliant? I mean I am very easy going I do not like confrontation of any kind I would rather bite my tongue than start an argument. Is it possible for a person to be too nice? Am I a doormat now? I am the type of person that will drive through McDonalds and then give the food to the homeless guy down the street, I am the annoying person you are stuck behind in traffic because I'm letting the flow of thirty cars turn down the street you are trying to get through to, If you ask to borrow 20 bucks I hand it over even though it may be my last bit of cash until payday I figure if you need to ask then you must need it more than I do. I'm not saying I'm a candidate for the wife of Dudley-Do-Right, but I do try to be polite and respectful to everyone I meet, I go out of my way to help anyone in need, what I dont understand is why I continue to do so when all I ever recieve in return is crap from the ones who say they love me? I'm not asking for much it's just sometimes a thank you would be nice, say maybe you come home from work, your tired and hungry, even though I have just worked a 12hr shift myself I will cook you dinner and draw you a nice hot bath if you wish or maybe rub your feet for you, but can you say thank you? hell no!that's too much to ask for, right? Ok so maybe sometimes I took secret pleasure in the sound of you retching your guts out to your porcelain god especially if you happened to have knocked me around a bit before you hit the throne, just pray I have'nt put super glue on the seat :) I have come to realize that many people are searching for "the" perfect person, give it up there's no such thing, it that were true there would be alot more lonely people in this world and although there is no "one" perfect person there is someone that is just right, finding them is a bit like trick-or-treat sometimes you get the good stuff other times you get the sticky popcorn balls. I'm still waiting for the good stuff! Another thing, what's up with the cheating? If you wanna pimp it up and ho it out like some 70's porn flick then do so, but dont drag someone else's heart with you, if that's the life you choose for your self then you obviously are not ready for a committed relationship to love and be loved. And dont give me that crap "it just happened, one thing led to another" My Ass! it's called self-control, ladies should have enough self-respect to not just "let it happen" and men should know when to let the larger head rule, yes guys I'm talking about the one that's closer to the ceiling not the one you constantly grab hold to check to see if it's still there. Why must life be so complicated? The one thing that I do know for sure is that it's not what you have in life, it's who you have and when you have someone special you should hold them tight ,treat them right and always be thankful they are a part of your life. Because at the end of the day who else is going to accept you warts and all?
