My parents and I cant wait! my bf downloaded the last UFC PPV and were STOKED about seing George St. Pierre and Sean Penn Fight. I heard on the radio that it's controversial due to G.S.P. being rubbed down with vasoline or something, to make him more slippery, make it harder to grab him and throw him to the ground or pin him... damn frenchies! muwahahah!

I have been without my computer for 1.5 weeks and tis been drivin me CRAZY!!! With ice and snow up the 'wazoo' this winter I've been getting even more "Cabin Fever" than i dunno what!
Well this laptop's battery died before I got it (second hand, my ass is po') and the AC Adapter blew late Saturday (jan 25) when I shut down the computer and then herd the adapter TICKING!!! a few ticks and it was dead.... so now i'm glad to have the POS computer back at least until I can afford to get a NEW one.
In the meantime, I went to the hospital with my mom to see her mom. Considering the state of Grannie's Alzheimers, I was suprised yesterday; I mean it was the first time in WEEKS since she remembered my name and who I was.

She says we may as well have locked her in a prison.
She swears the hospital staff are trying to kill her
and everyone goes through her things
and steals from her...
Days later, the "stolen" garments,
trinkets and treats (tea, coffee, chocolate...)
starts turning up
inside her pillowcase.
I dont need to tell those who are walking that path
Alzheimers sucks, Grannie's not getting better.
It's tough to see a loved one in an inner place such as this.
But in the hospital the nursing staff keep a close eye on her
which means so does the doctors that work that floor.

It is early June 2008, my niece is 22months old. Her daddy is a big fan of Saturday Night Live so I asked my niece if she could say "SUPERSTAR" (gotta love that Moll Shannon!) So the lil sweetie says "A-STAR!" her mommy (my sister) and I just cracked up!! I love that kid!
